FUNCTIONS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
THE 4 FUNCTIONS OF METEOMIEL
BALANCES - OBSERVATORIES - PERFORMANCE - GROUPS
SCALES: The SCALES function allows you to follow the data of your beehive scales in real time (this is the function proposed by the old beescale.org software). It also allows you to set up and diagnose the status of your scales.
OBSERVATORIES : This function, unique in the world of beehive scales, allows you to follow in real time the honey flow of a geographical sector. This follow-up is elaborated from all the data of the network.
PERFORMANCE : This function allows you to compare in real time the performance of each of your hives on the scale with the other hives but also with the honey flow of an observatory.
GROUPS: This function allows you to access the scale data of other selected and consenting beekeepers and to manage the sharing of your scales.
The software is developed on 3 fundamental principles:
- the sharing of data is decided by the beekeeper
- the data are secured and saved (SSL encrypted server, backup according to ISO/IEC 27040:2015)
- the interfaces are simple and accessible on any support / any OS: tablet, PC, mobile
The OBSERVATORIES function has been developed specifically for production assistance. It allows:
The OBSERVATORIES function is largely inspired by the work carried out by the CARI on the monitoring of honeydew as well as the work of the INRA on the lavender observatory.
➡ To follow in real time your production areas near and far
➡ To analyze trends over several years
➡ To compare your own hives to the average of the observed area
